Nebula Bar Product Packaging Development When it came to developing the packaging for Nebula Bars, I was on a mission to capture the wonders of the cosmos in a snack bar wrapper. However, a quick scan of the market revealed designs that lacked the sparkle and imagination of the great unknown. Determined to set CosmoBites apart, at this point I decided to test out Midjourney to craft some inspiration. Midjourney generated images - prompt 'space themed two coloured snack bar packaging, sleek and modern, yet adventurous' Having some inspiration in mind I began designing and incorporating the brand identity of CosmoBites was paramount. To avoid a flat, one-dimensional look, I sprinkled in some of Photoshop's magic of generative fill, introducing abstract black light trails to the packaging backdrop. Magazine design - Cosmo Chronicles Taking on the challenge of designing CosmoChronicles magazine meant adapting the striking identity of CosmoBites to a brand new medium. The iconic monochromatic colour scheme and the pop of light teal were carried over, giving emphasis to special elements like quotes. Familiar brand imagery and icons peppered the pages, ensuring the spirit of CosmoBites was ever-present. Keeping with the typography rules set by the brand, every page breathed consistency and unmistakable brand presence. A magazine's layout can make or break the reading experience. Taking cues from other space-themed publications and aligning with the diverse content requirements, I settled on a versatile 4-column grid system for CosmoChronicles.  Cosmobites - The Brand Establishing a brand identity requires a delicate blend of creativity and strategy. For CosmoBites, the client's chosen way forward was to intertwine path of typography and minimalism. One of the first things I did was to use ChatGPT to brainstorm slogan ideas, until we have decided on a slogan 'Savour the Universe.' This was later expanded to "Savour the Universe, One Bite at a Time," a catchy and imaginative phrase that uses a space-related metaphor to communicate the fun and excitement of space exploration, resonating perfectly with the brand's adventurous and invigorating tone.   Venturing into the realm of colours, I experimented with ColorMagic , inputting prompts such as 'galaxy', 'nebula', and 'space', in hopes of crafting a celestial palette. Brainstorming The initial phase of brainstorming led me to ChatGPT. By feeding the AI the entire organized brief, it managed to produce some intriguing concepts, such as rocket launch and the planet infusion idea. While these served as an excellent foundation, the AI's capacity to switch rapidly between varied concepts - a critical facet of brainstorming - was found wanting. Nevertheless, I found value in these AI-generated ideas, using them as foundational stones for further development.   Mindmapping For the mind mapping phase, I turned to an AI tool named MyMap (MyMap.ai, 2023), which promotes AI-driven conversations in a 2D map format with branching capabilities. But instead of fluidly branching from my inputs, it offered verbose, AI-generated points.
